Raymond, W5RAW, is shown above as he operated the main SSB station. 327 contacts were made on SSB. The logging program (on the monitor screen) was available at each station-- via Cat 5 computer networking cable, strung by Cory, KD5ROK.
ABOVE: Daniel, KC5HQY, checked the PSK31 station antenna. Observing were (left) Maury, W5UGQ, and Bob, N5TBD. 106 PSK31 contacts were made by Maury, W5UGQ; Matt, KC5CGT; Dan, WA8YYE and Gene, WA5ETK.
The CW station (above) made 163 contacts during the event. Jim, K5BZH (left); Scott, N5SM (wearing earphones) and Brad, N5LUL-- were our CW operators.
FOOD!
ABOVE: Free colas, water and chips were available. Maury, W5UGQ, and Betty, W5UGR, provided home-baked treats and ingredients to make sandwiches.
For lunch Saturday (above), those present chipped in $2 for fried chicken, corn-on-the-cob, fried okra, mashed potatos and gravy. The bonuses included Gail Winter's fantastic potato salad, pinto beans and cornbread by Carol, WD5DCZ; and some "to die for" cheesecake, made by Melanie, KE5UJU!
Damon, KE5KUL, (above) showed us how you can evenly pack a plate!
ABOVE: John, K5FS, (left) and Eddie, N5SUJ, obviously enjoyed the goodies.
Damon, KE5KUL (above, left) and Chip, N5LTZ, were okay, so long as they didn't snag a extension cord or cable with their forks.
